Atlanta’s dining scene has already started 2018 with a bang. The hotly anticipated Emerald City Bagelsopened this week in East Atlanta Village, new Thai spot Chai Yo began dinner service by reservation only, and Achie’s, the new restaurant from Hugh Acheson, opened at the beginning of the month at the new Omni Hotel at the Battery. Here are 14 more restaurants we’re eagerly anticipating this year.
Atlanta Magazine puts out another well informed piece on up and coming food scene excitement. Im sure we all agree that the number of new and creative eateries has amazed even the most seasoned foodie, yet staple restauranteers keep up the excitement and innovation in their new creative endeavors and we cant love it enough!! Bravo to those men and women who dedicate their life to making the rest of us feel good through our taste buds!!
A few places Im personally excited about are my friends Missy & Kristen of 18-21 Bitters new concept The James Room and the 1st of its kind in Poncey-Highlands on the Beltline, New Realm Brewery. The past few weeks of being opened has been a stellar success and its so nice seeing people gather at a great new pub with a rooftop deck overlooking the Old Fourth Ward and the Atlanta skyline.
