On Atlanta’s east side, Cabbagetown is an artsy, hip place with an edge, and it attracts a diverse range of residents. Architecturally, the neighborhood consists of a variety of early 1900 lofts, townhomes and bungalows, as well as new construction lofts and condos. The community connected to Inman Park via the Krog Street Tunnel, is known for its street art and graffiti.
Cabbagetown was built as a mill town and was one of the first textile processing mills built in the south. In the 1990’s, this area saw huge growth as more and more young professionals laid roots in the area because of its proximity to downtown, as well as its unique attitude and culture.
